Snow Leopard News

Before you install Snow Leopard (OS 10.6) on your Mac, take note ... one of the "refinements" is a change in gamma. The gamma has been changed from 1.8 to 2.2. Says Apple, "the default gamma has been changed from 1.8 to 2.2 to better serve the color needs of digital content producers and consumers."

Snow Leopard also features an update to QuickTime, QuickTime X, which includes screen capture capabilities, improved colour accuracy, and GPU-acceleration.
